The company
NanoPyro is a spin-off of the Royal Military Academy of Belgium.
The company is based on a patent filed by the Department of Energetic Materials at the Royal Military Academy. It develops and produces energetic nanomaterials for the civilian, aerospace, and defense industries.
In addition to this innovative technology, NanoPyro also utilizes more conventional technologies to develop new solutions for energetic materials.
CNX Technology
The technology developed is the result of more than 30 years of experience in the study and characterization of energetic and porous materials. This has led to the creation of a technological platform enabling the development of a new family of energetic materials known as Composite NanoeXplosive (CNX). NanoPyro holds the exclusive patent for this technology.
